Luca Curcio's La Bomba

La Bomba is an unapologetic ensemble led by Berlin/Copenhagen-based Italian bassist Luca Curcio. The band is all about pulse and collision. The music is built on raw improvisation and rewired through sampling aesthetics, ranging from gritty low-end grooves to fractured rhythms and restless melodic turns.

Live, the band works from a deep physical interplay where drum and bass push against each other, micro-rhythms drive the pulse, horn lines twist and tangle. It's all held together by trust and gut instinct.
