About the Event
Pianist Yulianna Avdeeva and Quatuor Modigliani present a compelling and expressive programme. From Ravel's elegant waltzes and Debussy's free quartet form to Shostakovich's ambiguous Piano Quintet: an evening in which style, timbre and musical insight come together. Relativisation characterises all the works, without ever undermining their musical expressiveness.
