Greene serves on the Connecticut Arts Council and sits on the board of The Ana Grace Project, the foundation he and his family established in memory of their daughter Ana, who was among the students killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012.

Joining him: pianist Aaron Goldberg (Wynton Marsalis, Joshua Redman), bassist Vicente Archer (John Scofield, Robert Glasper), and drummer Mark Whitfield Jr. (Kenny Garrett, Sean Jones).
