“Spirit of Santana” the music of Santana by the guitarist Aleph Aguiar

Led by critically acclaimed UK-based jazz guitarist Aleph Aguiar, Spirit of Santana: Exploring the Music of Santana from the 60s and 70s is a sophisticated exploration of Carlos Santana’s golden era. Far from a standard tribute, this performance approaches Santana’s catalog through the lens of high-caliber improvisational mastery.

Focusing on the fertile 1969–1977 period, the project reimagines the explosive union of Afro-Latin polyrhythms, blues expression, and progressive jazz-fusion.

Aguiar's fluid phrasing and harmonic sophistication lead a dynamic ensemble designed to bring both visceral groove and transcendent modal exploration to the intimate Crazy Coqs stage.
