Irina Lankova plays Schubert and Rachmaninoff

The internationally acclaimed pianist Irina Lankova returns to The Concertgebouw with her new programme A Better World. ‘You have carried me away to a better world’, writes Schubert in An die Musik, in which he extols music as a force that gently lifts us beyond the confines of everyday life. The works of Schubert and Rachmaninoff enter into a dialogue with one another and, together, form a poetic journey full of humanity, beauty and hope.
