From an intimate vocal recital to exhilarating rhythmic interplay and a spectacular grand finale, this unique concert brings together internationally acclaimed artists for an unforgettable musical journey.


An evening of exceptional artistry celebrating the timeless traditions of Indian classical music alongside bold contemporary collaboration.

The concert opens with a traditional Hindustani vocal recital by Basant Singh, accompanied by Harnam Singh on tabla and Ganga Kaur on Dirluba. Together, they present an evocative exploration of raga, showcasing the depth, beauty and expressive power of one of the world’s oldest musical traditions.

The programme continues with an exhilarating collaboration featuring internationally acclaimed musicians Bernhard Schimpelsberger (drums), Satyajit Talwalkar (tabla) and Tanmay Deochake (harmonium). Drawing on diverse musical influences, they create a vibrant dialogue through rhythm, improvisation and shared creativity.

The evening culminates in a spectacular finale, bringing together all the artists on stage for a powerful celebration of musical exchange. Joined by a special surprise guest, this unforgettable conclusion highlights the universal language of music and the enduring connections it creates across cultures.

About Basant Singh

Basant Singh is one of the leading vocalists of the Namdhari tradition and a distinguished disciple of Pt. Ajoy Chakrabarty. Renowned for his expressive performances and deep understanding of Hindustani classical music, he has performed internationally, combining the rich musical heritage of the Namdhari tradition with the artistry of one of India’s foremost vocal lineages.

About Harnam Singh 

Harnam Singh is an accomplished tabla player, the son and disciple of renowned tabla virtuoso Harpreet Singh. Celebrated for his sensitivity, precision and versatility, he is equally at home accompanying vocal and instrumental music, and has performed extensively across India, Europe and North America, earning recognition for his nuanced musicianship and command of rhythm.

About Bernhard Schimpelsberger

Bernhard Schimpelsberger is an internationally acclaimed drummer, percussionist and composer whose work bridges Indian classical music, jazz and contemporary world music. Having studied extensively in India, he has collaborated with leading artists across genres and is celebrated for his innovative rhythmic language.
