Led by Don Glori, The Bricklayers are at the heart of London’s vibrant new jazz scene - a collective of adventurous musicians dedicated to deep listening, improvisation, and creating unique moments of beauty in sound and music. No two performances are ever the same: expect a dynamic mix of 70s hard bop, modern jazz, soul, R&B, and fusion, shaped by each show’s unique line-up of accomplished players.
Born in the corner of a dimly lit Kingsland Road bar, the band earned their name during a two-year residency at Ninety One Living Room on Brick Lane, selling out almost every show purely by word of mouth. Now, they bring their restless, genre-crossing energy Upstairs at Ronnie’s, ready to craft fresh, unrepeatable musical experiences.
