The Brighton based 10 piece outfit bring an exclusive live set of deep funk & soul music, an authentic mix of their own arrangements of rare & underplayed gems from the 60’s & 70’s and their own material. The band features super soulful female vocals, firing funky keys, screeching horns, backed by a super tight rhythm section. The Steppers have come together to shake up and wake up the live soul music scene with their unique blend of sister funk & sweet soul. The band have twice been the main live act for The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, part of the Line up at The Jalapeño Records winter Bop in their hometown, and performed alongside & with USA soul sensation Carlton Jumel Smith for his first ever U.K. show at The Jazz Cafe.
