Celebrated as "the leader of the black avant-garde in Britain", Anthony Joseph is an award-winning Trinidadian poet, novelist and musician whose singular body of work fuses spoken word, jazz, Afrobeat, funk and the rhythms of the Caribbean. Winner of the 2022 T.S. Eliot Prize and a collaborator with artists including Meshell Ndegeocello, Archie Shepp and Shabaka Hutchings, Joseph has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Black music and literature.
