Blue Lab Beats & Friends

The London duo of NK-OK and Mr DM have spent the past ten years developing a sound that moves between jazz, hip-hop, soul and electronic music. Their fifth studio album, The Blue Lab Beats Show, celebrates that history of collaboration, moving from jazz and 70s fusion to dancehall and Baile Funk.

For this expanded performance, Blue Lab Beats will be joined by singer-songwriter and producer Lizzie Berchie, multi-instrumentalist and producer Ben Jones, and bassist, vocalist and composer Isobella Burnham. Together with the full live band, they’ll bring the collaborative spirit of Blue Lab Beats’ music to the stage.

Berchie’s blend of R&B, neo-soul, jazz, reggae and highlife has seen her tour with Noname and perform across the UK and Europe, while Jones’ work as a multi-instrumentalist and producer includes credits with Sam Smith, Jacob Collier, Mary J. Blige, Sir Tom Jones and Jazmine Sullivan. London-based, Barbados-grown bassist Burnham has worked with Tom Misch, Jorja Smith, Sampa The Great, Steam Down and Connie Constance, alongside developing her own music as a vocalist and composer.
