His breakthrough album Fantasma (1997), gained global recognition, with eight acclaimed studio albums to follow. Oyamada has become one of the most sought after producer/remixers in the world, working with artists including Blur, Beck, MGMT, James Brown, and Yoko Ono. The new album REFRACTIONS is shaped through artistic exchange, featuring collaborations with Sean Ono Lennon and Arto Lindsay. It arrives during a period of accelerating change, exploring ideas of perception, shifting realities, memory and interconnected consciousness.
