Libë
About the Event
London-born, Sheffield-raised singer-songwriter Libë returns to the Piano Lounge, bringing her soulful, grounded take on modern R&B to the stage once again. Classically trained on piano from age five, Libë writes with a rare gift for capturing emotional moments that are hard to name but instantly recognisable.
Since releasing her EP Yang earlier this year, she’s been steadily putting out new music and this show arrives just ahead of her forthcoming single Skeptical (out Oct 9th) a bolder, punchier turn that trades vulnerability for self-assurance. Joined onstage by accomplished pianist Noel Chambers, expect a warm, intimate set full of genuine musical chemistry.
Libë is a London-born, Sheffield-raised singer-songwriter bringing a soulful, grounded perspective to modern R&B-pop - and a rare gift for writing lyrics that feel like they were pulled straight from your own emotional experience.
Classically trained on piano from the age of five, Libë’s relationship with music has always been intuitive and feeling-led. Raised on Sunday drives soundtracked by soul and R&B classics, those early influences are woven into everything she makes - warm, reflective and rooted - while her writing speaks directly to the modern emotional moments that most people feel but find hard to name. That’s what makes her music connect. Audiences don’t just listen - they recognise themselves in it.
Her performances reflect exactly that. Chilled but passionate, intimate but commanding, Libë creates a space where the room slows down and something real passes between artist and audience. Her vocal presence is quietly powerful - never showy, always moving - and her live shows carry the same emotional precision as her recordings.
Her single Stale captures the slow burn of emotional jadedness - the point where connection fades and conversations begin to feel hollow. Written over two years and completed in a final studio session in late 2025, it marks a more self-aware and emotionally direct chapter in her evolution. Libë leans into lush instrumentation, subtle groove and melodic restraint, letting emotion sit at the centre of every record. The result is music that feels both carefully crafted and completely natural.
Having released her debut EPs Yin and Yang in 2025, Libë has just dropped Stale - the first taste of what promises to be her most fully realised work yet, as she builds toward her debut album.
Outside of music, her creativity extends into crochet - she runs her own handmade brand - fashion, and quiet moments at home with her bengal cat Belle. At just 25, she is steadily establishing herself as one of the UK’s most compelling emerging voices - thoughtful, passionate, and deeply connected to the people who listen.
