About Olympia Vitalis

Raised in West London, Olympia Vitalis has already established herself as one of the most exciting names in the soul genre. Olympia’s fluid vocalisation and distinct improvisational style come from seven years of experience singing in gospel choirs as well as the undeniable influences of jazz and hip-hop; Olympia cites references that span Amy Winehouse and Aretha Franklin to Nas and Kendrick Lamar. Her heartfelt songwriting addresses topics close to her heart, with her powerful and passionate vocals creating a hugely captivating listening experience for her audience.

Olympia’s career has shone through live performances, performing her single The Rush on A COLORS SHOW, and supporting the likes of Sasha Keable, Baby Rose, Teddy Swims, Victor Ray, Bilal, and Corto.Alto across the UK and EU.

Reviews

‘The singer’s amazing voice references her influences, ranging from vintage jazz through to Erykah Badu. There’s a devoutly British sensibility here, too, placing Olympia Vitalis in that street soul lineage.’ Clash Magazine

‘There’s something enchanting about Olympia Vitalis. Perhaps it’s her voice, tinged by her West London upbringing and the same delicious brassiness that coloured the notes of the late, great Amy Winehouse.’ 10 Mag
