The Era of Expression

The Era of Expression explores minimalist and post-minimalist music, bringing virtuosity and a spirit of experimentation into a single artistic narrative. The programme will feature Polish composer Henryk Mikołaj Górecki’s Concerto for Piano and String Orchestra, Op. 40, published by PWM Edition, alongside works by Grażyna Bacewicz, Philip Glass, Ludovico Einaudi, Gediminas Gelgotas and other composers.

The concert is organised by bymodern as part of the international development of bymodern and NIKO, presenting contemporary Lithuanian musical culture through collaboration with leading Polish artists and institutions.

The concert partner is PWM Edition, one of Poland’s foremost music institutions and a leading publisher of Polish classical music.
