Bach's St Matthew Passion with Ton Koopman and Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra & Choir

The internet is the new church, the smartphone seems to be everyone's God. In addition to that fact, Bach's St Matthew Passion is a comforting phenomenon. The Dutch St Matthew tradition is a unique phenomenon: in the weeks leading up to Easter, the work is performed hundreds of times. This is also the case in our Main Hall by Ton Koopman and his Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra. With his infectious energy and sparkling musicality, Koopman makes Baroque music sound as if it were written yesterday.
