Ronnie Scott's Gospel Choir at Christmas
Lineup
About the Event
Get Christmas started with the Ronnie Scott’s Gospel Choir and Daniel Thomas, bringing the sound of a full gospel choir to the festive season. Expect soaring harmonies, spirited solos and familiar Christmas favourites reimagined through gospel, with plenty of moments to sing along.
At the heart of the choir is Daniel Thomas, a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and former choir director of the London Community Gospel Choir. Known for his ability to turn a room into a congregation, Thomas brings years of experience across gospel, soul and pop to every performance.
His credits include work with Luther Vandross, Elton John, Cher, Westlife, Robbie Williams, Lewis Capaldi and James Brown, alongside House Gospel Choir. He has also coached vocal groups and artists including Girls Aloud and Blue.
For this Christmas edition, the choir brings together some of the UK’s most experienced gospel singers and musicians for a repertoire of festive favourites alongside the gospel classics that have become a signature of the monthly residency. Expect big voices, rich harmonies and a Christmas celebration with the volume turned up.
