Late Late Show with Jéroboam
Lineup
About the Event
Jéroboam are an 11-piece Parisian funk band with a strong live reputation and a sound that has developed through years of playing together. Their original music draws on the boogie and soul records that first brought the band together, with the energy of a serious live dancefloor band.
The musicians first came together as Echoes Of, staging popular tributes to the American cities of funk and building a following between Paris and London. They went on to work with 80s boogie legends Howard Johnson and Junior Giscombe, while their connection with Kyoto Jazz Massive saw them tour Europe and record with Shuya Okino and Vanessa Freeman as the Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra.
As Jéroboam, they have released music through Space Grapes, Chuwanaga and Favorite Recordings, sharpening their sound across a series of vinyl EPs. Their self-titled debut album, released on Favorite Recordings in June 2026, brings together eight original songs, including the boogie-funk of See The Light and the disco-jazz of In The Spirit.
Every Thursday to Saturday night from 11.15pm, Ronnie Scott’s presents the Late Late Show, where some of the UK’s finest jazz talent takes to the stage for a late-night blowing session. The music includes a range of music influenced by jazz-funk, soul, R&B and hip hop. A DJ will play sets before and after the live sets.
Most tickets for the Late Late Show will be available at the door if advance tickets have sold out.
