Devin Daniels is an alto saxophonist from Inglewood, CA. He has performed with bands led by Gerald Clayton, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, John Beasley, and Sam Barsh. In 2023, Herbie Hancock invited Devin to perform with him at the Hollywood Bowl to honor the late Wayne Shorter, followed by an invitation to join his band on a U.S. tour in Spring of 2024. Daniels earned full-scholarships at Berklee College of Music and the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz Studies at UCLA. He was the Herb Alpert Foundation’s 2024 Make Jazz Fellow, where he was commissioned to compose new music over three months, much of which became the foundation for his album, LesGo!
