An Elegy is a new composition by Mees Vervuurt in which the trainees of the Netherlands Chamber Choir, a physical performer, and a percussionist attempt to merge with their surroundings. During the O. Festival and Oerol, they engaged in a unique dialogue with nature; Studio Vacuum, NKK NXT, and Muziekgebouw Production House are now joining forces for a one-off performance in the ideal acoustics of the Grote Zaal.

An Elegy is an invitation to listen more deeply. The singers perform in their native tongues (Korean, Catalan, Occitan, French, Portuguese, Dutch and Cypriot Greek), accompanied by subtle percussion. A compelling quest for that ultimate moment of musical perfection.
