Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation:
Founded in 2015, the Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to making music education - especially jazz - accessible to children and young people across the UK and beyond. Inspired by the legacy of the club itself, the Foundation supports grassroots initiatives, funds youth music programmes, and donates musical instruments through its bi-annual Musical Instrument Amnesty. Its outreach includes free workshops, performance opportunities, and mentoring sessions designed to empower the next generation of musicians, particularly those from under-resourced communities.
The charity organises a number of workshops at Ronnie’s with young people aimed at promoting and fostering live jazz performance and music education in general. All of our workshops are free to attend and specifically aimed at helping and inspiring those young adults who do not have access to music education. We invite local or in-residency artists to work with young people here at Ronnie’s, sharing their skills and expertise to children with prior music tutoring and those with no musical experience.
Menu by Steven Connolly:
Bringing 18 years of culinary expertise and a passion for refined seasonal cooking, Steven Connolly joined Ronnie Scott’s as Executive Chef in November 2024. Originally from Poole, Dorset, Steven honed his craft in some of London’s most acclaimed kitchens, including The Connaught, Orrery, Wild Honey, and most recently, The Ned.
Steven describes his culinary style as "classic French technique with a soulful British heart" - blending precision with comfort and letting the best of seasonal British produce shine. This evening's menu has been personally curated by Steven to reflect not only his culinary philosophy, but also the spirit of celebration, creativity, and flair that defines both Ronnie Scott’s and the Foundation.
Prepare for a dining experience that sings with flavour, finesse, and a touch of jazz.
Ronnie Scott’s All Stars (featuring Natalie Williams):
Ronnie Scott’s All Stars is a ‘house band’ with a difference. They are internationally acclaimed for their virtuosity and versatility. The line-up for this charity event will feature incredible vocalists Natalie Williams, alongside Alex Garnett on sax and additional vocals and piano from the club’s Artistic Director James Pearson, whose keyboard skills are a musical tour-de-force.
The evening will be followed by the Ronnie Scott's Jazz Jam from 11.15pm. Our weekly Monday night jazz jam is the place where the very best London jazz pros come and let off steam after their gigs in town. You never know who might drop in.
All proceeds will benefit the Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation.
“At the Ronnie Scott’s Foundation, we believe every young person deserves access to music education, regardless of background. We’re not just nurturing talent, we’re opening doors to possibility. It’s about more than music - it’s a pathway to equity, opportunity, and lasting change for underrepresented youth.”
