SCREE
Ryan El-Solh - Guitar

In their 10 years performing together as a Scree, Ryan El-Solh (guitar), Carmen Quill (bass) and Jason Burger (drums) have developed a near-telepathic rapport, which they put to work interpreting El-Solh’s lush, impressionistic compositions. Their sound draws on an eclectic range of influences from Ellington to Brahms to Lebanese composer Ziad Rahbani. Pitchfork described their 2023 debut album, Jasmine On A Night In July, as “spellbinding…familiar threads woven into fabric that feels novel”
