Freelance feels locked in from the moment they hit the stage. Individually, the members have shared the stage with artists like Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper, and Esperanza Spalding, bringing that depth of experience into every performance.

Formed back in their college days, the group has developed a sound that’s tight, focused, and deeply connected. Their music moves through jazz, soul, funk, and R&B with a real sense of chemistry in their strong melodies and the interplay that keeps the music moving.
