Jean Rondeau harpsichord

About the Event

San Francisco Classical Voice hit the mark when it defined Jean Rondeau as a ‘player of deep personality’, free to reveal ‘his profound musical intelligence and sensitivity’. He concludes his Wigmore Hall Residency with one last immersion in the music of Louis Couperin, who climbed to the top rank of musicians in Paris before his early death in 1661 thanks not least to the dazzling diversity of his suites for harpsichord.
