Album launch for ‘Cascadian Echoes Suite’ on the Earconnector label.

The album recording released and to be performed on this gig captures Alex Bonney, Tim Giles and Alcyona Mick in their first meetings as a trio. A nod to a shared love of influences can be heard: 70’s documentary soundtracks, commune era Don and Moki Cherry and 80’s Miles but also contemporary electronica and cinematic sound design. Rolling basslines, grooves and soundscapes evoke an atmosphere inspired by ‘Cascadia’ – the name for the bioregion of the Pacific Northwest.
