Lucas Dorado "El Sueño" ft. Aitzi Cofre Real

After studies at the University of Music in Lausanne (Switzerland), he got a scholarship in 2015 to continue his bachelor in vibraphone jazz at the Jazz Institute Berlin with David Friedman as his professor. After that, he entered the renowned master program European Jazz Master in collaboration with the universities in Paris, Copenhagen, Trondheim and Amsterdam which he completed in 2022. In that same year he earned another scholarship to create his new project El Sueño with professional musicians from France. Since then, he's lived and worked in Paris.

He won the 1st prize in the first Jazz-Vibraphone Competition 2017 in Pescara (Italy) and became a Yamaha endorsee one year later. In 2019, he published his first solo vibraphone book Nuevos Ritmos and since 2021 he’s officially endorsing Pearl Drums representing the malletSTATION. In 2023 he started working with InVivo Agency, which represents the Trio MetaMadera alongside Minino Garay (percussion) and Aly Keïta (balafon). In 2024 he won the public prize at the Tonnerre de Jazz Competition in France with his group El Sueño and started working with the agency Musicart Productions later that year. They represent and manage his group El Sueño with which he released his debut album in April 2025.

Lucas Dorado is a curious and eclectic artist who works equally well in jazz, Latin American music and even classical music. He has worked on several occasions with the Deutsche Oper Orchestra for a classical repertoire at the Berliner Philharmonie and collaborates regularly with Minino Garay. He has also met and played with well-known artists such as Randy Brecker, Juan Munguía or Renaud Garcia-Fons.
