FRIGO feat. Bruno Bode

Somewhere along their search, the trio FRIGO begins to speak a musical language that follows its very own grammar. While drawing on avant-garde vocabulary from contemporary classical music and modern jazz, they never lose sight of form, expression – and thus, accessibility.
Their distinctive performance of original compositions explores polyrhythmic structures and extended harmony, providing a foundation for exciting improvisations full of surprising twists and vivid interplay. Their goal is to create striking moments of clarity, yet the music also thrives on the ambiguity born from their expanded approach to rhythm and harmony. Through their balanced acoustic sound, this polyphony ultimately converges into a singular, powerful musical expression – articulated with great intensity and sincerity.
