The band features long-term collaborators of Roland’s chosen to engage with the effortless weaving of tight arrangements and free-flowing improvisation. Bob McKay Sax Appeal, Paul McCartney, Ronnie Scott Big Band, Cliff Richard, Claire Teal, Donna Summers, Nelson Rangel, Gloria Gaynor, Ian Shaw, Georgie Fame, Mel Torme, George Shearing, John Dankworth Big Band and Gareth Lockrane Big Band. Jeremy Shoham Founder and leader of Just East of Jazz and active on the London jazz scene for over 40 years having played with Liane Caroll, Jim Mullen, John Etheridge, Neil Angilley, Paul Booth, Jo Harrop, Cameron Pierre, George Melly, Dave O’Higgins, Gilad Atzmon, Jonathan Gee, Liam Dunachie, Anita Wardell, Nigel Price. Emmanuel Oladokun Emmanuel Oladokun began singing in a church choir at the age of four and started playing bass in his early teens. After earning a music degree from the London College of Contemporary Music (LCCM), where he met his mentor, Roland Perrin, he pursued gigs and studio work in various styles, especially soul, funk, afrobeat and jazz. Roland Perrin Received major commissions for choir, big band and orchestra including 'songs from the cage' - premiered at the Queen Elizabeth Hall London and 'Rio Amazonas' - premiered at The Barbican, London. He has toured with a wide range world musicians, including: Juan de Marcos (Buena Vista Social Club), Dudu Pukwana (South Africa), Aster Aweke (Ethiopia), Najma (India), Williams Cumberbach (Venezuela), Moses Fan Fan (Congo) as well as regularly performing in UK with a number of jazz and Latin-jazz groups. Yuval Wetzler Yuval Wetzler is a London-based drummer who has performed at festivals and venues across Europe, Australia, Africa, and the United States. His drumming style blends strong influences from African rhythms, jazz, and electronic music.
