KOOB

KOOB is a band whose sound lives between avant-jazz, experimental soul, and raw improvisation, fronted by Valeryia Dele - vocalist and composer born in Minsk with Ethiopian roots. Since its grounding in Berlin in 2023, the band carved out a space in the city’s forward-thinking jazz and underground scenes.

Their debut That Tree (2023) earned multiple European jazz awards and took KOOB across 11 countries. Their second album Off Head (2025), sparked new waves of recognition, drawing attention from TAGG Magazine, CLASH Magazine and Jazz Thing—marking KOOB not just as a voice of a scene, but as a force reshaping it.

This time, KOOB will present a full-length concert in the intimate setting of Donau115, featuring new material alongside some of the beloved pieces from their existing repertoire.
