Joe Stilgoe & The Entertainers

Bringing together an all-star ensemble featuring members of Kansas Smitty’s House Band, Joe Stilgoe’s acclaimed band, and special guest vocalists, The Entertainers is nothing short of a jazz supergroup.

At the heart of the project is a collection of brilliantly crafted original songs inspired by the people who make jazz clubs what they are: the regulars and dreamers, the night owls and romantics, the performers, and mischief-makers. Each song introduces a new character and a new story, capturing the camaraderie, eccentricity, humour, and humanity found in jazz clubs across the world.

More than a concert, The Entertainers is a fully immersive experience. From the moment you step through the doors, you're transported into a living, breathing jazz club universe where the line between audience and performer begins to blur. Expect world-class musicianship, unforgettable storytelling and surprises around every corner. You may even find yourself sitting next to one of the stars of the show.

Following the release of their landmark debut album, The Entertainers arrive at Ronnie Scott's with a production that is both a love letter to jazz club culture and a celebration of live entertainment at its most vibrant. Warm, witty, theatrical and irresistibly swinging, this is a night that captures everything we cherish about jazz and the characters who keep it alive long after the lights go down.

“Known, on the circuit, for combining musical virtuosity with a swashbuckling stage presence... entertainment with an old-fashioned charm that can win over the most cynical of modern audiences.”
— The Guardian

“If it's entertainment you want, why look further than a band called The Entertainers? It's charmingly old school… The tunes are hummable, the lyrics are intelligent, the playing is exemplary.”
— Jazzwise
