About the Event
“JZ Replacement” is a fresh high energy and intense project lead by saxophonist Zhenya Strigalev (Eric Harland, Ambrose Akinmusire, Aaron Parks) and drummer Jamie Murray (Robben Ford, David Binney). The night will also feature Igor Yakovenko on keyboards.JZ Replacement is London based project and has already been successfully presented at Love Supreme Festival, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, EFG London Jazz Festival and Porto Jazz Festival, Inntone Jazz Festival...They have also toured in Germany, Austria, Spain... Their last album "Disrespectful" with special guest Tim Lefebvre (David Bowie, Wayne Krantz, Knower...) got lots of high praised reviews from both media and audience.

Today JZ Replacement will collaborate with one of most prominent pianist/ composer Igor Yakovenko. A contrasting musical background led Yakovenko to numerous projects: he wrote the opera “Guilty” for the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theatre, released five albums in the Fancymusic label; a place of power for innovative composer music.
