Late Late Show with The Royal Jam
Lineup
About the Event
The Royal Jam revisit the music of the legendary West Coast jazz and jazz-funk pioneers The Crusaders, bringing together some of UK’s finest players to mirror the classic line-up of sax, trombone, piano, guitar, electric bass and drums.
The ensemble combine musicianship, skilful soloing and the members’ love of the Crusaders’ music to create a stylish and authentic retelling of some of the legendary group's most celebrated tracks.
Articulating the recognisable piano groove and technique of the great Joe Sample is Carl Hudson. Pete Beachill on trombone with Jim Hunt on saxophone create a tandem horn sound. Tim Cansfield on guitar, bass player ‘Level’ Neville Malcolm plus drummer Geoff Dunn complete the rhythm section.
A DJ will augment the evening starting the night until close.
Most tickets for the Late Late Show will be available at the door if advance tickets have sold out.
Priority tickets available, subject to availability. Please ask for prices on the night.
