About the Event

Escape the bustle of the West End and step Upstairs at Ronnie’s for an elegant Christmas lunch where exceptional live jazz and refined seasonal dining come together in an intimate setting. Inspired by the warmth and sophistication of Manhattan in the 1940s and ’50s, Christmas in New York evokes an era when Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and Dean Martin provided the soundtrack to the festive season.

Throughout December, acclaimed pianist, bandleader and long-standing Ronnie Scott’s favourite Jamie Safir leads a hand-picked ensemble and special guest vocalists through a beautifully curated 75-minute performance. Expect timeless Christmas classics alongside elegant interpretations from the Great American Songbook, celebrating the music of the great jazz vocalists of the twentieth century.

Guests are welcomed with a Clementine Bellini before enjoying a specially curated three-course festive menu from Executive Chef Steven Connolly. Moving beyond the traditional Christmas lunch, the menu celebrates the season with exceptional ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship and refined presentation, creating a dining experience to match the music.

Combining outstanding live jazz with exceptional food in the intimate surroundings Upstairs at Ronnie's, Christmas in New York offers a sophisticated and memorable way to celebrate the festive season.

Ticket prices include a welcome cocktail, a 3-course meal and all the entertainment.

“As for Safir, he is perfect throughout, his solos little gems of creation.”

“The star of the show… and the binding force behind the entire set was Jamie Safir. Not only a pianist at the start of a hugely promising career, but a musical arranger of true talent.”
