About the Event

The Dresden and Berlin-based record label Uncanny Valley takes over the Morphine Raum for an evening of three live performances.

The Australian-born and Berlin-based artist Gareth Psaltis just released an album on Uncanny Valley and will present the Berlin premiere of his new live-set. He forms a singular sound that takes from genres like drum & bass, industrial, illbient, IDM, post- punk and wave using obscured samples, field recordings and synthesis in a collage-like process.

Temple Rat is joining the night with a live-set utilizing field-recordings and self-built sound design to create a transportive, cross-cultural experience. She’s a multi- instrumentalist and composer who defines her sound as a seamless fusion of traditional Chinese instrumentation and forward-thinking electronic productions.

Jacob Stoy is a German musician and visual designer with an extraordinarily broad musical spectrum ranging from state-of-the-art IDM to lo-fi wave sketches, hip-hop stumblings and freakfolk miniatures through to twisted ambient. His live sets are like a collage of snapshots of different states of mind created from modular synthesizers and ever-evolving loops. With two upcoming records for Uncanny Valley, he will present one of his rare solo live performances.
