Hebrides Ensemble

The Hebrides Ensemble’s day-long showcase of music by Scotland’s composers opens with Judith Weir’s spellbinding re-composition of Hildegard of Bingen’s Song to the Virgin, O Viridissima, and includes evocative works by Helen Grime and Stuart MacRae scored for the Pierrot ensemble of flute, clarinet, violin, cello and piano.
