About the Event

Known to millions around the world for his work with leading instrumental bands Snarky Puppy and The Fearless Flyers, Mark Lettieri is a prolific guitarist and composer in his own right. Proficient in a multitude of styles, he has recorded and performed in virtually every genre of popular music with both independent and major-label artists.

Cutting his teeth in the vibrant gospel and R&B scene of Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, Lettieri joined Snarky Puppy in 2008, quickly becoming a central creative force as guitarist, arranger and composer. With the band, he has toured the globe and contributed to a string of acclaimed recordings, helping to shape their distinctive, genre-defying sound.

Also a prolific guitarist and composer in his own right, Lettieri has carved out a formidable solo career, releasing a series of celebrated albums that showcase his signature blend of infectious rhythm and melodic flair. From the low-end explorations of his Deep: The Baritone Sessions releases to the slick, grooves of Things of That Nature, his music has earned both critical praise and a devoted international following.

A highly sought-after collaborator, Lettieri’s credits span an extraordinary range of artists, including Erykah Badu, David Crosby and Kirk Franklin, among many others. Whether on stage or in the studio, his playing is defined by his unmistakable sense of feel.

“With ten releases under his own name… a stable and busy solo touring group, and an ever-growing list of collaborations… Lettieri has steadily built a reputation as a "player of consequence" who has been moving beyond mere guitar circles.”
— All About Jazz

“Lettieri gets warm, beautiful tones from his guitar, and his time and touch are top-shelf.”
— The Jazz Word

“Adventurous and endlessly groovy... one of the best guitarists on the scene.”
— Rock & Blues Muse
