Simeon ten Holt's Canto Ostinato

Pianist Jeroen van Veen calls Canto Ostinato ‘a way of life’. The magical power of Simeon ten Holt’s Canto Ostinato: an iconic and almost ritualistic masterpiece that is recreated time and again in the moment. Tonight, this Dutch minimalist classic will be performed on four grand pianos and an organ. Alongside pianist Van Veen, you’ll hear Aart Bergwerff on the organ. LP Duo (Sonja Lončar and Andy Pavlov) and Irene Russo will take their places at the other three grand pianos.
