From canon to concerto: Pachelbel, Bach, Vivaldi & Leclair

A sparkling Baroque programme in which virtuosity and ensemble playing take centre stage. From Johann Pachelbel’s famous Canon to Antonio Vivaldi’s effervescent concertos: the richness of the Baroque string repertoire comes fully to life. Two highlights are the spectacular violin concertos from L’estro armonico and a rarely performed violin concerto by Jean-Marie Leclair.
