Martina Liviero is an Argentine composer, songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist based in Brooklyn, New York. Her music organically blends the richness of South American song with chamber music, contemporary jazz, and intricate compositional forms.
With this project, Liviero expands the boundaries of Argentine song, weaving chamber textures for winds and through-composed structures into an intimate, refined, and deeply personal musical language.
She has performed in New York, Buenos Aires, and Boston, collaborating with acclaimed artists including Grammy-winning pianist Kevin Hays, with whom she has performed numerous times in New York City. In 2025, she also appeared at the Roots in Sound Festival at Close Up in New York, curated by Cuban pianist and composer David Virelles.
Her debut album, Formas al Desaparecer, was released in May 2026 on the independent label Hilo Records. The album features nine original compositions written and arranged by Liviero and was produced by Brazilian composer Rafael Martini, known for his work with Egberto Gismonti.
