London Brass

Celebrating four decades as the UK’s premier brass ensemble, London Brass present a vibrant programme of original works and inventive arrangements. Featuring music by Mark-Anthony Turnage, Vince Mendoza and the ensemble’s own Richard Bissill, the concert highlights both newly written pieces and fresh takes on familiar sounds – showcasing the group’s signature brilliance, versatility, and flair.

About London Brass

London Brass is the UK’s longest-established brass ensemble, formed in 1986 upon the retirment of Philip Jones, where some of the members from his famous group, moved forward into new territory.

With trail-blazing recordings on our own label and with Warner Classics, our ten players bring together a rich mix of musical backgrounds — from orchestral principals to film-score & jazz soloists. We’ve performed for audiences around the world and loved sharing our music through education work along the way.
